2018 Top Wedding Trends

May 9, 2018

The only permanent thing in the world is change. With that, it's not surprising that every year, new trends are entering the wedding industry. You don't need to be involved in the wedding trade before you become updated with the current in. Evidently, many couples prefer their wedding to be into the latest fashion. If you're one of them, here are some of the most popular wedding trends in 2018 you may find handy.

1.    Dark accents

Back in 2017, the bling was all about light colors. Almost every wedding you've been into were filled with light colors that you thought that bright hues were for eternity.  Adversely, dark accents took the center stage of weddings this 2018.  By dark accents, we mean fierce motifs. Navy blue became a common hue for weddings from suits, dresses, to wedding cakes

2.    Hanging florals

Florals encompasses more than just centerpieces and bouquets. You also need to give room for cocktail table clusters, stems for the altar, and escort card display. This can potentially take up a lot of space, but if you still want to flaunt big blooms on your big day, wow your friends and family by incorporating unconventional hanging florals.

3.    Transparent elements

Back during the days, people obsess over accessories and adornments for their wedding, but today's trend teaches us that minimalism encompasses any other type of design. Transparent tables, windows, doors, and whatnot - these are designs that makes the celebration look modern and attractive.

4.    Unique dishes

Not everyone is adventurous, but that's not the case if the topic is about food. There was a time when the only alternative to chicken and pork was Chinese and Japanese food. However, globalization has given us access to more food varieties.

A well-constructed wedding site can leave an impression on your guests, but making that impression last is another thing. As they say, the way to people's heart is through the stomach. Choose between Italian, Thai, or Mexican food.

5.    Capes

Back in the days, you'll only see capes being worn by superheroes. Now, they are typically worn by brides. If you want to take your wedding look to the next level, you may want to try out this new fashion.
