If you and your partner already have kids or you both have a big family and there are a lot of children who are going to attend your wedding, we have some creative ideas on how to include them on the ceremony and reception. Plus some tips on how to keep them busy throughout the day!
1. Have them as your flower girl or ring bearer
You can have them as a flower girl or a ring bearer if you want them to be a part of your entourage. To keep them busy throughout the day!
They will enjoy this part of wedding planning because they will get to taste different kinds of food on the kid's menu and they might even help you choose! Because sometimes kids know the delicious ones than us!
If they are old enough and can handle the responsibilities of being a bridesmaid or groomsman, don’t forget them on the list. They would love to help you with the preparation and they will feel really involved, too!
Give the bartender a heads-up about the kid's drinks or the list of persons that he shouldn’t give an alcoholic drink to. The kids will envy the adults (remember, we were kids once, too!) and they will try to eat or drink whatever we have on the table.
Everyone will appreciate their performance! If you only have few and they have a talent for singing, you can ask them to prepare one song or two. And if they are many you can ask them and their cousins to prepare a dance performance. The reception will in no doubt be so alive!
