 1.    Write a blog about weddings

We spend a lot of time on the internet looking for the perfect wedding ideas, like dresses, cake, venue, almost everything wedding related. Brides-to-be are also looking for advice and reviews about certain products so making a blog will help them thus making you a reliable vendor.

 2.    Look for wedding partners

This is very helpful for those vendors who do not cater everything, look for wedding partners!  Let us say you are a caterer, your clients will ask you if you also include cakes in your package and if not you can tell them that you have a wedding partner to do it for them.  Wedding business might be a competition but you will still need the help of others at some point.

 3.    Create a brand identity

Read about the perfect colors that describe a wedding, a pastry shop, dress shop or a caterer.  When you have the right colors it is time to look for the catchy name and tagline.  That way your customers will have a brand recall for your product. 


 4.    Ask help from your current clients

Have you ever seen those “sign up and refer a friend to get 20% discount” yes, you can do that!  The more referrals the more clients you will have.  Word of mouth is very powerful in the business industry.  And also you can simply send your clients a thoughtful gift after the wedding so they can remember you and refer you to their friends!

 5.    Try to get published in a wedding magazine

Although this sounds impossible to those who are just starting their business, there are ways on how you can get published or featured. Write about your pitch and send out proposals for the publishing company. Make sure to put why you think your business is different from all other competitors. Market yourself that is in-line with your branding. Who knows, you just might get featured in several wedding magazines and blogs!
