He got down on one knee, took out the ring, and popped the question. Still in awe, you said “yes” and the next thing you want to do is celebrate your engagement. Well, there’s no better way to spread it than by doing a photo shoot. First things first though, find the perfect photographer. Once done, come up with a concept. Here are a few suggestions.

You and your fiancé do not have to jet off to an exotic location just to get the most amazing engagement pictures. Alternatively, you can drive around your city and look for interesting street arts. Every city has certain spots that are quirky and artsy.

How about an engagement shoot under the stars? This is best done out of town, somewhere where there’s not much light pollution so your photographer can perfectly capture all the twinkling stars. And again, you have to take into consideration the weather. Be sure to check the forecast before you head out.

Take advantage of the concrete jungle your city offers and use it as a concept for your pre-nup session. Pick the best location that gives a full view of the buildings. Compare which ones look prettier in photos — day or night view.
