Have You Heard the Important Dates to Avoid When You are Getting Married? Read This!

Jan 4, 2018

Are you ready to set the wedding day date?  Today we are going to help you sort out the dates you need to cross in the calendar.  It is either there will be few guests or there will be some important events on these dates.  Without further a due, here’s the heads up!

 1.       Holiday Weekend

Holiday Weekend includes Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and Labor Day.  Your guests will be busy spending time with their loved ones on these dates.  You might even ruin their traditional get together with the family on father’s day or mother’s day.

2.       Election Day

Although this only happens every 6 years, you also need to know this one.  This is the allotted date for us to choose the right leader for our country, might as well think twice before deciding to get married on this date.  Election Day happens every 2nd Monday of May.

3.       Religious Holidays

This includes Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, All Saints Day and All Souls Day.  Most of the events here are requiring us not to rejoice (except for Palm Sunday), say a prayer for the departed loved ones and sacrifice something for God.

4.       Christmas and New Year

Just please spare these dates!  It might sound wonderful and romantic but it isn’t!  There will be fewer guests and they might even tell you that you should’ve picked another date aside from that.  This is the time to be with their family and have some quality time together.  Try not to steal that from them.

5.       Friday the 13th

Known as the unlucky and scary date in the calendar.  If you are superstitious you will be avoiding this date.  We grew up with the notion that this date is not nice and just to be sure to avoid bad vibes, choose another date than the Friday the 13th.
