Why Having a Rehearsal Dinner Is a Must-Have

First of all, what is a rehearsal dinner?  For the brides and the grooms to be this is where you will practice where you should be and what to do on your wedding ceremony.  Wedding dinner rehearsal is done a day before the wedding.  This is your first time to get married and obviously you don’t know what to do here and when to say this.  That is why this is essential if you want to have a smooth sailing wedding ceremony.  It is not kind of pretty to see some mistakes in front of your officiant, it might be a little funny and humorous but we all want a flawless one.

The wedding rehearsal should be attended by both parents of the couple, their siblings and the bridal entourage.  This is also a great time to spend with the people who helped you and future spouse to have the magical day of your lives because on the day of your wedding you will not be able to thank them all personally.  After the rehearsal in the ceremony venue, you can have dinner in a fancy restaurant or the groom’s house.  This can be paid by you and your future hubby, your future husband’s parents or both of your parents (splitting the bill).

This is a great time to relax and have fun with your future in-laws and his friends.  Having a rehearsal dinner can also relieve some stress of what you should do tomorrow because this prepares you.  Your family and your groom’s family can take this as an opportunity to get to know each other well (especially if you haven’t introduced them to each other personally).  And don’t forget to tell them last minute reminders!
